Overly-diligent Man

Well met, Adventurer. If you have some time to spare, would you care to help? The plantation's been doing well, and a bit quiet of late. However, I've been looking over my ledgers recently and discovered some product amounts not adding up. I do have my suspicions... There's this worker who's a new hire from Port Epheria. He's quite the diligent one, and of decent character. It might not be him... but if he's doing this as a result of hard times, I would definitely want to know so I can help. Could you find him and bring him to me? He should be working somewhere there in the back.

If it truly was him... then I would understand. Why is that you ask? Bring him here and I'll explain everything.

Darak. Is it really you? I told you to come to me if times were hard... {ChangeScene(LIVE_CAMERA_DARAK)}Forgive me. I have starving family in Calpheon, and my hands moved before I could think... I will repay you, I swear. {ChangeScene(NurmanLeight)}You don't have to. I've already been paid in full by watching how hard and earnestly you work. Please, stay, and continue to lend me your aid. {ChangeScene(LIVE_CAMERA_DARAK)}How could I even consider doing so... I've committed such a heinous act against everyone who took me in... {ChangeScene(NurmanLeight)}Then why don't you keep working here, and pay off your debt? If you're ever in need, just come to me. We're all here to help one another. What say you? Will you stay and work this plantation? {ChangeScene(LIVE_CAMERA_DARAK)}(He's hesitant, but appears touched at the same time.) I'm in no position to say this, but... For as long as I work here, I swear to never be a burden to anyone here, ever again. Thank you.
