The Merchant Representative in the Kalis Parliament. Enrique Encarotia is an emerging merchant who may be the richest man in Calpheon. He is involved in countless businesses, including trade, a workshop and usury, and is interested in anything that makes a profit. He is a natural merchant with an ability to read the flow of markets that cannot be matched by anyone. He has a somewhat conservative and stern aura, and calculates profit and loss swiftly. He and House Batian have been at odds from the beginning given his skepticism regarding Elionism.
