Gardaka's Code: Pilgrim's Sanctum

"For I lack four fingers, I have bridged the four skies and four lands at a place where I punctured the neck of the thirsty and let the spring water run through." Is this referring to a gateway that connects the pilgrims sanctums to the north and the south? On the way from Pilgrim's Sanctum: Sharing to the Ibellab Oasis, I found an ancient relic. Did Gardaka end up here after wandering the scorching desert?
