Initiating Ancient Defense Weapons

The Ancient Stone Chamber in Balenos is filled with statues of Ancient Weapons attacking people who have fear engraved across their faces. These statue people appear to be dressed like Priests. There are as many different theories about what this depicts as there are explorers of these ruins. Some say these Priests were attacked and turned into statues by these ancient mechanisms. Others say the mechanisms sprung into action as soon as the Priests entered what must have been a forbidden place. No one knows anything for certain.
