Khuruto Defense Gear

Khurutos are capable of using tools and more intelligent than they look. They make armor by covering their bodies with soft cloth first and then covering it once more with hard shell, or making helmets out of huge animal skulls. Khuruto shields are made of well-trimmed wooden panels and decorated with water buffalo horns. The face drawn on the shield with bloody red pigment is done as a threat to enemies. Judging from the horn decorations and drawings on the shields, they are considering not only the functional side of armor, but also the effect the decorations might have on the enemy.
