Caphras's Clue I

The immortal alchemist, Caphras, appears to have originally been a follower of Hadum. According to Caphras's journal, he knew that the meteorite that fell in the west of Calpheon was a "living Black Stone", and he sought to gain immense energy to awaken it. It's unclear whether the Cron Castle explosion incident came first, or the awakening of the Blackstar in southwestern Calpheon. However, what is certain is that Caphras believed that the Black Stone, or the Black Spirit, was the only way to oppose Hadum.
