Caphras's Clue II

The hope that Caphras grasped for was an incomplete one. The Black Stone drives people mad, ultimately robbing them of their lives, and the Black Spirit bewitches its host, turning them into absent-minded monsters. It's akin to becoming evil oneself to stand against an evil deity. The one who could overcome this is the Edana. An ancient who opened their eyes in the present age, who concluded their first life with death and presides over their second life. One who controls without being consumed by the Black Spirit, and uses the power of the Black Stone without succumbing to its madness.
