Taehak - Introduction

When Go Dahn the Mountain Deity King ascended with the Gods of Wind, Rain, and Clouds, the disciples who followed them split into three groups - order, knowledge, and force. The descendants of Unsa, the God of Clouds, who represented force, pursued enlightenment through swordsmanship, forming the Sangdo School. Go Dahn the "Exalted" walked all three paths, but reaching the end of even one path to attain enlightenment was an immensely difficult task. He yearned for each of the three schools to master their respective paths, but also hoped that they would come to the other school's aid if their paths ever came to cross.
