Symbiote's Journal II

I paused for a moment and looked down at the sweeping landscape below. They say this land was once prosperous. Perhaps that was not merely rumor. I imagine I am the only one left who can appreciate such a view. Everyone else is too terrified of being consumed by the Black Spirit. When time is short, one should allow for moments of leisure. I have been promised the throne, but I suspect my words won't resonate much with them. I will rest briefly, then continue. I am curious to see what awaits me next. - A symbiote
