Near the castle gate stands a tall, slender rock. It appeared artificial, so I examined it more closely and confirmed it had been deliberately chiseled. What troubles me is this: it was done in an instant, and with immense strength. Who could accomplish such a feat?
Was it the Demonlord within the castle? And if so, why? Was it meant to draw attention to this very spot?
The professor quickly lost interest and moved on to the next site. I must hurry to catch up.
