Edania Research Log - Final Entry The vertebrae... I don't even care anymore. My left side no longer moves at all. Only now do I understand—I was never truly a professor, nor merely an assistant. I am simply a deranged killer. I was consumed by the Black Spirit and murdered my professor. I remember the panic, the terror, and the rush of exhilaration all at once. As a murderer, I had only two places to flee: death, or Edania. After arriving here, I deceived myself into believing I had come for archaeological research, playing both roles alone. With what clarity remains, I wish to see the blue sky once more. The place where I wrote my first journal entry, beneath the shade of a tree... I will return there. There, I will make my escape... through death. - The murderer
