Mermaid Hunter's Journal

Rumors of mermaids have been spreading recently. It's said that alchemists covet mermaid blood, and capturing one could fetch a fortune. What the blood is used for doesn't matter; what matters is the price it brings. I've even abandoned my daily fishing to hunt mermaids instead. But mermaid hunting is far from easy. Perhaps word has spread among them as well, because I haven't found so much as a single strand of mermaid hair. Damn it. I can't keep returning empty-handed. Today, I will catch one and sell it for a fine price.
