We encountered a device unlike the last. Four pillars arranged at equal distances, with something... alive... in the center.
Devices of this type usually require a sequence: activate the four pillars in order, or destroy them all simultaneously. Yet these pillars do not respond at all. Perhaps there is a prerequisite. Or perhaps one must meet certain qualifications.
The rookie is becoming a liability. After seeing the Black Spirit-consumed Sorceresses, he froze in place. What am I supposed to do with someone like this?
