My comrade is in terrible condition, trembling uncontrollably and muttering nonsense. Our objective lies just ahead, yet he kept rambling about sensing an ominous energy. When I pressed him for answers, he refused to explain.
Fearing he might collapse entirely, I suggested we retreat to base. The others insisted we complete the mission first and withdraw quickly afterward. It was likely the correct decision. Still, I cannot shake this unease.
