Evelina

A member of the Secret Guards, Evelina keeps watch over the desolate mountains of Voidekaia, where a great chaos has extinguished nearly all signs of life. No living plants remain, and even traces of ancient structures have been crushed beyond recognition, yet she holds her post with a quiet diligence beyond her years. Painfully shy by nature, she becomes visibly flustered when meeting Edana, whom she has long admired. At one point, nerves get the better of her and she abruptly asks whether Edana has eaten, only to worry that even the question may have been improper. Awkward though she may be, her gentle manner reveals a sincere fondness and admiration for Edana. In barren Voidekaia, her hesitant greeting feels like one of the last traces of warmth left in the land.
