Odd Rocks under the Sea

About
Under the eastern Valencian sea, there is an area filled with protruding rocks that look like candlesticks. This area used to be dry land when the sea level was lower during the last ice age. It was likely carved by desert sandstorms and water. When a storm hits this area, these rocks become a dangerous obstacles to sailors and since the olden times sailors knew to avoid this area.
