The Drieghanese mostly consume meat from highland animals such as llamas, goats, and yaks that are seldom seen elsewhere. Meat is precious in Drieghan because there are not many places where it is suitable to raise livestock. The people of Drieghan perform rituals to comfort the spirits of their livestock whenever they slaughter an animal that they've raised. Most of the meat from a slaughtered animals is then dried and distributed.
