The Qualifications of a Hunter

The young boys of Drieghan are trained in the art of hunting from an early age. However, their training doesn't necessarily result in them all becoming hunters. The boys must first pass a test known as [Chantus], a test of their qualifications as a hunter. The Chantus Test includes tests of their skills in hawk handling and horse riding. Only after passing this test will the boys be recognized as true hunters.
