Keplan, a once autonomous kingdom, has fallen to become one of many territories controlled under Calpheon. Marco Faust, the once ruling monarch of Keplan, lives on in dismay and misery. His decision to support Calpheon during the war against the wishes of many further estranged his relations with the nobles of the land. Rumor has it that upon receiving word of his daughter's passing and contracting the Petrifying Disease, Marco Faust is beginning to lose his mind.
