The Three Legendary Blacksmiths of Mediah are Barattan Lancer, Mevo Muranan and Dorin Morgrim. Mevo Muranan was a pioneer in using black crystals in smithing. Barattan Lancer is a perfectionist, while Dorin Morgrim was a natural born genius. Their fame in Altinova was at its peak, with not a single soul unaware of who they were, when they competed with each other to see who was the best blacksmith of all. It ended with two of them leaving Altinova. However, to the new and young blacksmiths who visit Altinova, they are still the undisputed three legendary blacksmiths of Mediah.
