Martha Kiyen, an archaeologist exploring the Bree Tree Ruins of Calpheon, admits to knowing Edan, but claims that she is pursuing different relics than he is. Some scholars pursue the vestiges of the Ancients in hopes of learning about their culture and attaining their wisdom. Others, for whatever reason, are more interested in what caused their civilization to decline and ultimately perish.
