Apprentice Sorceress Training I: Mentality

At the beginning of their training, apprentice sorcerers spend most of their time at a waterfall, a place widely known for inspiring mental clarity. The limits of a sorcerers ability to channel dark power is most greatly determined by the strength of his or her will. Allan Serbin's educational method stressing the development of a sense of humanity and justice in order to achieve a higher sense of self has been very influential. For apprentices, however, this training feels like hell, because they are deprived of food and sleep for the three days they are in the waterfall.
