Monta Ahto's Heartfelt Paternal Love

Ermenezildo dreamed of reviving the Shroud Knights and the Royalty of Mediah. He kept contacts with the Sarma Outpost to prepare for battle with the Barbarians, and that made Monta Ahto, the owner of the farm Ermenezildo was staying at, uneasy. On top of all this, Ermenezildo's womanizing didn't exclude Monta's daughter, and this finally drove Monta to murder him. This gave some of the Stragglers an excuse to give up soldiering and settle at the Ahto Farm to begin a life of farming, which in turn made organizing all the Shroud Knights as a solid group almost impossible.
