Miho Spine Loach

These freshwater fish inhabit the sandy bottom of clear streams. They eat small plants attached to stone surfaces. They have a habit of burying themselves in the sand. Their bodies are thin and long, and the back of the tail sack is flatter to the side than the front. Some alchemists had over-exploited them for research, so now they are hard to find.
