Inextinguishable Fire. There's a temporary outpost you pass when you're going from the outpost port to the outpost. The portable lantern there is hoisted on a high place which could be seen far from the distance. The fire is to tell soldiers coming from the outpost port that they're safe. As a result, the fire never extinguishes.
