The soldiers standing watch are guarding it with their lives at stake, literally.
A few days ago, a chain holding it broke, and we lost one of our own to it.
You should head on over. I think they could use your help.

Talk to one of the Soldiers.
Don't bother the Ogre.
On completion
Urgh... What a terrible creature.
