He said to bring the essence but you cannot lift it because it is too heavy. In the box containing the essence, there is an ancient text that is hard to decipher. There is a small indent on the box as well.

the Essence of Water within.
"Those who seek the source of life, the Essence of Water, must break the seal with the ring containing the power of water."
