The investigators are at the house up on the small hill south of here.
It's going to be difficult looking for clues since the petrified miners and even the junk are alive and moving.
Anyhow, you'll find the others at the empty house up on the hill.
Be careful. A lot of dangerous things will appear along that path.

You'll find in no time by going a little farther down south from here.
