The Barbarian was reluctant to talk to an outsider. "Borrow" a Badge of Faith from one of the Barbarians nearby and present the badge to him.

Hehe, they're being difficult. It'd be so easy to crush him like a bug but sadly we need him and his ugly kin. I'm sure there's a way in. Don't they carry badges that mark them as brothers? Maybe you could 'borrow' one from someone...

While in progress

Just steal a badge from one of those thick-looking Barbarians. I bet they won't even notice.

On completion

Hmph...you carry the badge, I see. You must be new. I still hate your face, but you are one of us.
