Ah! Haha, talismans. Thank you. I'm not easily affected by the Black Spirit, but since it is a gift from you I will gladly accept! That's correct, I'm here to investigate the Ancient Ruins. The ancient artifacts buried here possess the power to seal dark energy. Sadly, this artifact has long lost its power. It seems that someone forcibly extracted the trapped energy within. Ah, that reminds me. Do you know a Giant named Maudi Budar? He recently came by and kept asking me how much the ruins site might actually be worth. I sensed that wasn't all he wanted to know... Ah! I see. He's negotiating the Prince's asylum. Unfortunately that is something far above my authority. Are you leaving so soon? I feel this won't be the last time our paths cross. Safe travels.
