Mysterious Painting 2: Why it was Trashed

Much time has passed since I've drawn this... However, not long after I finished, it was completely trashed. They say I tainted the image of Cox Pirates, or what not Then again, it did help me escape the grasp of death. It was with the beginning of the Great Expedition. Want to take a guess on what the reason was?

Never thought the Great Expedition could result in such turn of events.

At the beginning of the Great Expedition, many sailors appeared, especially compared to the past when barely none traveled here.
