Allan Serbin, who founded Tarif with Cartian, told you he's trapped in a frame because he tried to seal the Book of Cartian, which enormous power. He told you that the Book of Cartian is sealed under the Nantusa Letusa Tree, so go have a look.

Well. First, nice to meet you. I'm Allan Serbin.
I'm the one who founded Tarif with the great sorceress, Cartian.
After Cartian left, I also sealed the book of Cartian which has her power
under that Nantusa Letusa tree for the first time.
