Chapter 4: The Man Who Healed Many years had passed since Bihyung departed from the Jwado School. A wandering traveler, while journeying through Hwanghae Province, stumbled upon a quaint village known as Dongmakgol. There, he discovered a man revered by the villagers, who called him, "Sir Bihyung." In Dongmakgol, there was a child suffering from an ailment. Miraculously, with just a single dance from Sir Bihyung, the child's illness vanished as if it had never existed. The villagers, in awe, clamored to crown Sir Bihyung as their king. However, the traveler and his companion, Dolswe, were skeptical, suspecting the man to be a swindler. The traveler noticed a red boil on Dolswe's back. Dolswe, having previously encountered a similar affliction in Donghae Province from a woman named Mihyun, dismissed it as trivial. Yet, upon visiting the Jesaengwon for treatment, they were met with an unexpected revelation. "Did you, by any chance, visit Dongmakgol Village? I'm certain they've restricted access there..." It turned out that those who had visited Dongmakgol and fallen ill all bore similar red boils. Moreover, due to the lack of a proper cure, those afflicted were forbidden from residing in Seoul. "So what about me? Am I just supposed to kick the bucket? No siree! What about my sweet darlin' wife? I can't leave her behind now, can I?" "Listen! I told you there's no treatment for this! Please, leave now before I have to call the constables!" With no other choice, they began to leave the Infirmary. Just then, a man called out to the traveler and Dolswe. "My word... Your face is clouded with worry. Might a red boil be causing you suffering?"
