He says that to gain courage, he needs some dried persimmons. Offer him some dried persimmons to hear what he has to share.

Gee... I haven't had much of an appetite because
my heart is still pounding. That's why I don't feel quite right.
Could you possibly bring me just one dried persimmon? They say that even tigers are afraid of dried persimmons, and eating one might give me the courage I need.
