Walk to the Grave

(Castillion is examining the journal carefully.) This... This is absurd. It's been ages since the legendary sea monster disappeared from the ocean. Immortality? Fossilized blood? I can't believe they're going after a mere myth. This is our golden chance and it's what will sow the seed of disharmony among the pirates. Look here. The ocean is trapped in time by the blood of the monster, the blood it bled when it put the ancient civilization to sleep. The ocean's rough storms will make you blind and freeze you with aching cold, slowly pushing you into darkness. If everyone refuses to dive into this ocean, who will find the fossilized blood? If this fossilized blood is as valuable as they say, wouldn't everyone be willing to go to the bottom of the ocean? This shows that they don't really believe in the myth. They're refusing to dive down because they think it's a waste of time. We'll send people as well, since our soldiers will not be afraid to dive down! We'll subjugate the pirates and investigate the ocean floor. What about you? Do you believe in this story?

So the pirates were after something completely different. I've heard stories of it as well. The glorious ancient civilization of the Epheria Sea and the monster that sank the civilization to the bottom of the ocean. It will no longer be a myth if the "traces of blood" are found. I do not know what value the fossil will have... But it'll mean that the monster has roamed our seas and there's a chance that it might appear again. I can't believe the Trina Knights are willing to send soldiers down to that dangerous place when even pirates are refusing to do so.
