Quest details

Maruv, an ancient ruins explorer from Tarif, says he needs to investigate the Ancient Ruins Guard Tower in order to find out why the artifacts of Tungrad were awakened. Defeat Balten to get Balten's Mask and defeat the Ancient Ruins Guard Tower to get the Ancient Ruins Guard Tower Core, then go back to Maruv.

I'm assuming that, after the Three Days of Darkness that evil witch Illezra caused, relics sleeping here have awakened. To investigate further, I need Balten's Mask and Roaming Black Spirit Fragments. Please defeat them and bring the stuff I need. I really need your help to find out about this.

I need to find out why the relics were awakened. I need to send the news to my colleagues dispatched to Valencia.

On completion
