It is indeed a dangerous place, but this altar was raised to remember their friends and family. You may be unfamiliar of such customs, but that is something of the utmost important to us. Oh right..! I saw one enormous wolf howling as the moon rose one night, which prompted several of those beasts to encircle some rocks shining in a black hue and carry out some ritual of sorts! This was right before they were about to attack us... So thanks to that ritual, we barely made it out with our lives. Thought you should know this...
