From the Barren Land

I saw bloodstained clothes scattered around me, and an ornament studded with jewels beneath the feet of a deceased man. I searched the surrounding area and found a piece of the man's journal clutched in his hand. He must have held on to it as he took his last breath. He wrote that he was ambushed by bandits on his way to see his mother with a gift... What an unfortunate event. I promised myself to grant him his final wish.
