Curse of the Ancient Civilization?

Stand up against the wind, and shine light on the grave where they slumber... This is a saying that ancient ruins explorers who visit here say. By the looks of your clothes, you don't seem like you are one of them though... Were you pulled into this unexpectedly as well? I see, I wonder what else we have in common. Did you also used to be a guard? I was working as a guard back home when I lost consciousness. When I woke up, I was here. Oh, you came here out of your own volition? Then you must've come here after hearing about the story of the ancient civilization. They say an ancient civilization lays asleep here. Some people even say this place is cursed by the ancients. Numerous lives have been lost to the windstorm that are frequent here, and there are people like me who seemingly fell here from the sky... What are the ancients trying to do? It's so eerie. The same goes for Netnume Island. There are stories about an ancient civilization there as well...

I want to go home, but I'm curious about this place as well. Why am I here? Was I chosen by the ancients for some reason I don't know?
