Instead, he found the serpent skin in a jangdok in their home. The satto offered the serpent skin to the Yeongam. Bari had no other choice than to show herself, because the serpent skin was her lifeline. However, the Water of Life was no longer of importance to the two. "What good is a long life, if it's no better than a short one?" What did the two sattos ask of Bari in return for the serpent skin? A terrifying rumor spread through Donghae Province not long after.
