Basquean Ljurik says that some kids are picking on Laura because she can't afford a uniform. Let's order some pretty clothes for her.
Go find Merv the tailor, give her 10 rolls of silk, and ask her to make a uniform.
※ You can either buy silk on the Central Market or craft it yourself.
※ Silk Recipe: Grinding 10 Silk Threads
※ Silk Thread Recipe: Heat 5 Cocoons
※ Cocoon Production Node: Erdal Farm, Valencia City
※ There is a low chance of obtaining Silk by interacting with Laundry Racks in Monster Zones You can find Laundry Racks in Calpheon's Rhutum Outstation and Primal Giant Post.

I heard recently that some kids picked on Laura because she doesn't have a choir uniform.
She lives with some relatives after her parents died, so she probably can't afford one.
We can't let that girl give up on her dream though!
We have to help her out.
Since you are here already, why don't you take the lead?
I mean, I can step up, but I'm willing to give you the chance to do the right thing.
Go find Merv the tailor, and give her some fabric to make a uniform.

Just give the silk to Merv.
On completion
It doesn't take too long to make an uniform.
I will start right away and send it off
to the choir once it's done.
And don't worry, I'll put Laura's name on it.
