I used to be a soldier, but I didn't know any better back then.
Now the faces of those I killed during the war haunt me to this day.
It's caused me many restless nights seeing all them faces.
But today, I was just walking by, and, for some reason, I couldn't leave this spot.
C-Can someone like me repent and be forgiven?
Would Elion take someone like me into His embrace?

I want to be free from the past.
On completion
Is that true? If I pray and believe,
will my sin be forgiven so I can live a calm life?
I feel relieved now.
I'd better talk to a priest.
