Those that threaten the pilgrims

The Aakmans, who once were even said to have become extinct, have started to appear again. At the capital, they're trying to find a way to deal with the Aakmans, but it is the pilgrims who are in immediate danger. The train of pilgrims is just going to get longer from now on, and I'm worried that many of them may be attacked by the Aakmans. If it's okay, could you please chase away the Aakmans around there, adventurer? Please, help us.

What in the world could those Aakmans want? Could they really be protecting an ancient relic that we haven't been able to find yet? If so, then why are they hostile against us?

Thanks to your help, at least the pilgrims won't be getting attacked near the sanctum from now.
