Vais is so scared that he's shaking the very leaves off the tree he's hiding in. 'The Watchers guarding the relics will punish all investigators,' is apparently what the trees whispered to him.

I... I have seen things. The t-trees, they were whispering, 'Get out of these ruins...' Yikes.... That's really c-creepy. I swear! You've probably heard it, too! Y-you know that I ain't lying. R-right? You believe me, right?

Th-there are s-so many souls... guarding these ruins... I-If we get caught digging the Ruins like this, th-they will k-kill... all of us.

On completion

After this investigation is over, I... I'll quit this job and become a farm worker.
